Senior Clinic & rugby physiotherapist

Senior Physiotherapist required for part time role encompassing rugby, private practice and performance in Richmond, Melbourne.

We are progressive physiotherapy clinic based in the heart of Melbournes sporting district. We like to do things differently and genuinely believe that work should be enjoyable.

With a heavy focus on sports our goals with our patients is getting them back on the field. You won’t find unrealistic KPI’s built around rebooking rates (especially when your patients don’t need them) we put a higher value on our staff getting patients better, faster.

We like to have fun, all of our team members are a bit quirky and love a laugh so you must be able to give as well as you can take.

The Role

This role will get you out and about working in different locations, your days will be different, some in clinic all day others a bit like this:

  • Be up at a local high school in the AM running strength performance groups

  • Back to clinic for 4 hours of patient time seeing a varied caseload including sports injuries and ACL rehabilitation using up to date evidence based practise.

  • Pop across to our performance rehab centre to run ACL rehabilitation groups or injury prevention programs

  • Across to your sports club where you will be completing injury assessments and implementing return to sport programs.

We envision roughly 25 hours per week however this position has the scope to grow into a full time role.You must be able to work Tuesday evenings and Saturday 1pm-5pm with AM and PM clinical shifts structured around these days.

The Person

If you enjoy seeing 15 patients back to back with chronic neck issues and then go home this role is not for you.

You will be flexible and adaptable, you will enjoy a challenge and thrive off working in a varied role.You love sport and sporting injuries. You love a laugh and enjoy the occasional Friday drinks with your colleagues.

You put a high value on learning and development and understand that as a physio you never stop learning, you must demonstrate a commitment to furthering your skills and if you think you know it all already you probably aren’t for us.

The Essentials


FULL AHPRA registration

3 plus years private practice

3 years plus contact sports team experience

Pilates experience (you don’t need to be a pro but know enough to run classes that incorporate matt pilates principles)

Full working rights with no restrictions


Experience working within rugby

Level 2/3 Immediate Care in Sport QualificationOR APA sports 3


5 years plus private practice experience

Salary negotiable depending upon experience.
